I came home today to find a fantastic surprise!
I see these blog give-a-ways all the time. And I am not going to lie, I am super-tempted to enter. But have I ever? Nope. Not until today that is. My all time fav photographer in the area ( where was she when i was getting married???) is having a giveaway for $150 toward a full session! I am going to hold my breath that I just might win! Gone are the days of driving neighborhoods looking for that magic yellow sign (sometimes hot pink) pointing the way to the next golden garage sale. Why? Google finds them for you with the new Google Yard Sale Treasure Map! 
You just type in your address, how far you feel like driving, and it creates a route for you! You can just click a button to see info about each garage sale, or even add stops to your route. And the best part, you can print it out and Voila!!!! Early Saturday morning planned and ready for action!

Homemade Guacamole?
YES she did! and was it awesome? Yes it was! The Mr. ate the WHOLE thing (ok i had some too). It was that good! (and props to Remy for the yummmmmmmmy receipe)
Homemade Pizza?
YES she did! me and the hubster had a 30 sec. date while making a yummy pizza. verdict? better than a pizza joint!
Homemade 2-tier Delicioso Birthday Cake?
Yes she did! with sprinkles on ALL sides! Can we say funfetti?
Homemade Headband?
YES she did! I kept seeing all the amazing peacock headbands, but price tag $50 was a bit out of my budget. so what did i do? crafted it in 15 mins for $3. and it made my outfit for the wedding.

My sweet love had a big milestone recently, and I was thrilled to get to c-e-l-e-b-r-a-t-e!!!! (he was too! :)
these perfect silk peonies from Fiori Belli. I don't' even care which color they are. These are the most amazing silks I have seen. Look at how detailed they are, down to the last inch (on the zoom feature on the link)! Do you have any idea how hard it is to buy real peonies? Even special florists don't get them too often. Dang having a favorite flower that is so elusive!
I love days off. Especially when I get to spend them with Vince all day.
So far we slept in to 9:30, (but really, when did this become sleeping in?)
have spent a delightful morning in our PJ's, catching up on all the shows we have missed over the past few days and we are getting to be together!
Plans for later?
Dates together for yummy bubble tea, a walk in the park if it is not too cold, and watching my man play some flag football tonight.
I'm in happy bliss!
I have been putting off posting for a bit. Its just been too sad since this had become a bunny blog.
But the bunnies all died. It was so sad. We had a freak snow-storm and momma bunny never came back. We were actually out of town that weekend for a funeral, and when we came back the bunnies were really doing bad. I tried to save them, but it didn't work, and on Monday all my sweet bunnies were gone. A moment of silence please.
Goodness little bunnies grow fast!
